About Me

My name is Joseph Cape and I am based in Bridge of Allan, Stirling. My last two years have been spent doing an MSc at Edinburgh Napier University and visiting my girlfriend in Ecuador, where I have been extensively travelling. In between hiking from Quito, the capital, to a coastal village, going on camping trips to the rainforest with the locals and eating larvae-kebabs, I found time to work on large web projects with a fellow web developer who'd found an advert I'd placed.

I worked with Jonathan Aulestia on cortometrajes, La Television & Ingesa .

Cortometrajes was nominated for Best Web Site 2009 by the Internet Society Ecuador (Spanish) and came in third place under the 'Education and Learning' category. It will go live this summer.

I keep updated on new web technologies by reading blogs that interest me and that are written by industry-leading developers. Examples of sites I have developed recently are provided in my portfolio.
